DESIGN & BUILD WITH GOLDEN HOMES BAY OF PLENTY

Golden Homes® have been building new homes for New Zealanders since 1990, designed for New Zealand lifestyles and conditions, with top quality fittings, finishes and building materials. Our Gold Standard Building System ensures every aspect of building your home comes together in one superior package and makes your Golden Home stand out above the rest.

Our team will meet with you to understand your budget and lifestyle preferences, drilling down on detail, followed up with a site visit to establish all design considerations to be accounted for.

A range of base plans to give ideas are offered and our Mount Maunganui-based partner, Cube Architecture will produce the initial plan and your one-of-a-kind design!

Once quantifying and pricing is completed and accepted, we produce full working drawings, apply for and have the building permit issued - taking around 3 months. At the same time the exciting detail of your internal fit out takes place and the colour scheme of your new Golden Home is worked on.

Build times are dependent on complexity and size of your house but expect to be in your new Golden Home within 10 months!

Recent new design and build clients, Les and Jill Matthews had a specific site that needed a special type of build and Golden Homes® Bay of Plenty worked with them to adapt a plan to suit which was one of Les’s favourite parts.

“The support we received from Golden Homes® from start to finish was just amazing” says Les.

Whatever you’ve dreamed about building is possible when you build with Golden Homes.
